GIFs won't upload, no "Manage Attachements" option
As the title states, I am no longer able to insert a GIF into a post. Previously, if I had a problem uploading a GIF to insert, it was because the GIF was too big (seemed like anything over 2 mb or so). Now, though, it doesn't seem to upload any GIF. I will try to upload one now that is 513 kb and am inserting it here:
But, I don't see anything. It shows 100% uploaded in the upload dialog box, but it doesn't give me a preview of what I just uploaded.
Also, there is no "Manage Attachments" option. I see a box right below where I am typing this message that says "Current Attachments" but there is no "Manage Attachments" button like before or any way that I see to add an attachment.

ok, there are two things.
We have merged the image upload and manage attachments feature to be integrated. This is why you no longer see the add attachment button, the add an image button in the editor now serves the same purpose.
With that said, there does appear to be an issue that is preventing .gif files from appearing. They seem to be uploading, but then not displaying. I am filing a ticket with our tech team now. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. Apologies for the inconvenience.
cheers,
robb

Since that function is hit -or-miss I just always type the html code:
[img]url to image[/img ]
Works every time and is faster than using the manage attachment thingy.

That's fine for images hosted elsewhere, but doesn't resolve the issue when you wish to host something here, which ultimately should be easier than anything else.
