Same here. Looking for permanent switch back to old format please. I am always logged in ("using remember me") but when I close the window and then open it up, it defaults to the continuous scroll setting.

Hey all, to keep the style without it reverting back you can go here and change the "Forum Skin" setting at the very bottom to 'Rennlist'

That should make it stick. Changes are still in progress to improve the infinite scroll based on your feedback.

I'll update this thread once those changes are in place.

I think best way is we just hop off this forum and try another one. Combined with the amount of cover up adds, its lost its user friendly appeal over the years.
A change is good as a holiday.

I'm sorry, but I HATE HATE HATE the infinite scroll. It seriously stops me from visiting the forum as much due to level of frustration it gives. For the love of god, PLEASE disable it.

The "fix" works on my ipad, and allows me to keep the "old" version (without infinite scroll and loading related threads).

For whatever reason - on my iphone the fix does not work, and it defaults to the infinite scroll every time I close the page and then re-open it. I stay logged in all the time (remember me).

Looking forward to a permanent fix that allows me to choose the preferred forum skin permanently on my iphone.

Haven't tried on the MacBook yet.

I have tried it on my MacBook, and it did revert on me once. I set it back and it seems to have stuck since then. After Nolan's last reply I followed those directions and just changed my settings from "Forum Default" to "Rennlist". Will see if it reverts again.

If you're a paid up member, the "cover up ads" go away. Cheap fix in my opinion

Now if they'd just stop labeling me an "Addict" I might find peace. This new "War on opiates" is bad enough without having my car club on my back too...

PS: I've noticed over the past couple of years that IT departments have started burning bandwidth for no good reason. It's happening across the board but seems focused on mobile devices (your iPad/iPhone). Netflix is a great example, nowadays when you bring up a Netflix selection screen, if you aren't quick enough they start playing loud music and a weird sort of trailer for the film that repeats endlessly, which burns bandwidth (and runs up your data charges) like a big dog.

This sort of crap needs to stop. You're paying for it and they don't make that fact obvious. Sort of like a hidden surcharge.

This new format is TERRIBLE. I can't even figure out how to post now without quoting someone. There is no more quick reply at the bottom, so I scroll up to try to find the "post new reply" button and it just keeps scrolling up to past posts!

AWFUL. I think I might finally be done with rennlist. I can get my snarky, mean-spirited jabs elsewhere.

Yes.

Go to User Control Panel.
Scroll down to "Edit VB Live" and click on it (along left side of screen)
Once the box opens, you'll see a long list of choices - many of which are checked.
Scroll down to the portion with international forums and un-check the boxes

I had the same problem suddenly pop up. Annoying!
