negotiate a price and have him bring it to TO for ppi and if they find anything deduct from price end of story happily ever after.

I'd never do that if I was selling. Too wide open.

yup - especially if its 8 hours of the sellers time + travel.

I would never agree to that either. PPI locally (50km radius) or tell the buyer to look for another car.
