7 minute, twice a day, five days a week, 20 weeks of winter? 1400 minutes of commuting.
23 hours in said car? Who cares. Get a beater, save your dough.
RS4 is going to cost you $2k in insurance.
Same with the VW. Call it $1.5o/min to drive. Just like an 1995 cellphone package.
Go take over some else lease to leave in the Go train lot. $300/mth appliance and walk away...
ie.

I get what you're saying, and it makes financial sense. But I will stab myself in the eye with a rusty knife before I voluntarily drive a chevy cruze every weekday of the year.

Plus, I'll drive the car to and from the Go station all year. Plus it may get used other times.

People have been telling me Porsche engine have problems too..... but in all seriousness, I rather have Subaru engine problems ($5K to fix) then Porsche engine problems ($20K+)....
Most Subaru engine problems that I read about are typically caused by increasing the engine output without a proper ECU tuning and/or supporting mods.....

Go train parking lot people are the most careless parking people in the automotive world.
I have had to climb through my trunk/hatch more than once.
I agree with you on the sharp object idea.
Like is too short, to drive an appliance.

Agreed. Might need something I can attach a tow hitch to... Hit my car if you want, but your bumper isn't going anywhere.

Not really interested in a convertible or something like a 996 C4S. If I'm going to own a second car, it should have some semblance of practicality.

It seems like a battle between a golf R and STI right now. I love the RS4, but I just can't believe a high mileage one will be reliable...

i had both 2016 golf R and 2011 sti. I bought both of them new. Golf R is much more refined than sti and easier to make more power out of it.

I would pick a used golf R over sti since a lot of used subaru out there were abused. I granny drove my sti and barely barely hit boost but I still managed to have headgasket leak at 65k km and not covered under warranty.

I simply couldn't deal with the stress of checking over my coolant level every other gas fill up and sold it.
