Is it just the bolts in the concrete that prevent the 2 posts from collapsing into the vehicle? Did you reinforce the garage floor when when it was being poured?

Maybe Cosmo has additional input, but from my research you put permanent anchors on your floor that the lift gets bolted down to when in use. Similar to other permanent two post lifts that dont have the top bar.

For concrete it has to be 4in think and have a compressive strength between 20 and 35mpa

Yes it's just bolted to the floor with the supplied wedge anchors. Jordan is right you need at least 4" of concrete. My house is a custom build and the original owner overdid everything. My garage floor varied, floor measured 5-6" thick. The lift is rated for 6000 lbs.

I poured three footings so I can mount lift in two bays, added flexibility!

It appears to have a mechanical manual safety release system. No idea how that works exactly but quite a few have them. My bendpak 4 post is pneumatic release which I like. Just make sure things are fully released when you drop a car otherwise it’ll get lopsided.

I wouldn’t worry much about the concrete. That contact patch isn’t much different than a tire.

One thing to keep an eye out for is if there’s a pitch to your floor. Front/back. You want the car level going up and when in position which means at the very bottom of your floor isn’t level then you’ll have to figure something out.

Also, someone mentioned 4" of concrete base previously.

Love this solution for a double car garage and not having any posts in the middle.

When I build my laneway suite, I’m going to consider it

^Probably rather have 2 auto stackers in a residential garage.
