THinking about spending some toy money on a wheel for the xbox one and building a stand for it...

Anyone have the Logitech G920 wheel with shifter?

We are a couple versions back on the Forza game.

I have the logitech G29 with the shifter and also had the G27. I ended getting the G29 because the G27 is not compatible with the PS4 (G29 is basicly a G27).

im getting a playseat once I finish my basement reno.

Happy with the g29? (basically ps4 version of the g920)

I've only had a mad catz something or other for the original xbox... broken and a long time ago.

I'm very happy with it, I got the G29 because the G27 was very reliable and I thought about buying the Trustmaster T500 RS, I ended up getting the G29 because the T500 wasn't fully compatible with the PS4 and I read that the Trustmaster is not as reliable as the G29. My friends that own Trustmaster had to use the warranty at some point.

G29 pros:
- The leather has nice touch and quality for a racing wheel.
- Brake pedal - it's hard, I like that other players can have a different opinion.
- Dual motor force feedback.
- 900 degree steering wheel ( the T500 RS can do 1080)

Cons:
- the rev lights are inside the wheel but they are useless because they are not in line with your eyes
- the gear shift could be better, much better, it's like a VAG manual shifter , very soft but other shifters in other racing wheels are superb i.e Trustmaster TH8 RS. I have been told that you can buy the TH8 RS shifter and use it with the G29, but instead of connecting to the G29 you connect directly on the ps4 usb port, the TH8 uses a usb connection while the G29 shifter connects direct to the G29 via VGA port.
