Default Rod's garage

Been working on this for a while. First pic is the day I moved in. Second pic is how it looks now. I spent hundreds of hours on it, but I can say now that I am finished.

Very nice Rod.

Love how deep that garage is.

Looks great - how do you find the tile?? I'm assuming it's porcelain?

Any issues with durability or keeping it clean with snow/salt through the winter?

I'm looking at a new place and will possibly tile the floor.

Thanks!!

Tj

Thanks guys.
It was a long time coming and it gets lots of use both working on cars and just hanging out.
The porcelain floor was massively time consuming for me to install and expensive. Absolutely no regrets with the floor. Easy to clean and makes it a nice place to be all year round.
Although I can't put 2 cars back to back, the depth is enough that I can easily walk around my Tundra while it's on the lift. Jonathon, you'll ever know what deep really is.

I guess it's not deep then because I've been to the back of your garage before...

Looks awesome Rod, where did you get the floor from and does it hold up well?

I bought everything from Ceramic Factory Outlet in Newmarket.
It's held up fine. Jacked up cars and dropped tools etc.

We need a garage sticky to show our man caves and to provide the ability to offer up tips and advice.

I spent many years as you are. Complete suspension overhaul with the car 1 foot of of the ground.
