I'll be watching on the WEC app and AirPlay it to the big screen. How's everyone else enjoying the 'Greatest Race in the World'?

This weekend is the VARAC event at the GP track. I'm torn as there will be vintage F1 cars screaming around the track and I can watch replays of LeMans on the app.
Tough call for Saturday!

I'm thinking Austin has become a must see race as Porsche has a habit of dropping out of the series when they're dominant.
Might even be the last time we can see these cars in North America.

Can't believe I was able to do this, but I watched 23 1/2 hours of the 24 hour race on the TV in my family room using a couple of different YouTube enabled streams. The first stream was from Eurosports with commercials. About 6 hours into the race that stream all of a sudden died. I found another English language stream that was even better because there were no commercials. But with about 5 hours left in the race that stream was shutdown. Luckily I was able to find another Eurosports stream.
I was so loaded up on coffee (the race ended at 7 am here in the mountain time zone), and I was so wired that I didn't sleep at all all day Sunday. But I went to bed last night at 8:45 pm and slept like a baby until my alarm went off at 6 am this morning when it was time to go to work.
If anyone wants to critic me and call me names like not having a life for watching 23+ hours of a 24 hour race, I don't care. LOL ... it was a race to remember.

No ... I was so wired up on caffeine by then that not only did I catch the last 7 hours of the race, I did not fall asleep until 14 hours after the race ended (9 pm local time). No I missed about 20 minutes of the race Saturday afternoon when I took a catnap in front of the TV while the race was still on playing through a YouTube live stream. The other 10 minutes that I missed was just before midnight my time with 7 hours left in the race, I took a shower to help me stay awake (mission accomplished).
Definitely a race to remember. Now will I do it again next year? Not sure. Only time will tell. I will be a year older and as we age, we do need to sleep more.

Life is short, and the older you get the faster it goes by (can't believe I'm 61 today )
