Collector car insurance?

Called both Hagerty and Vintage today as my policy through TD ends up being about 1700 per year. What's everyones experience with the restrictions of these policies?
Vintage told me the following:
1) Locked garage; carport or driveway not acceptable
2) No driving to work; period.
3) No parking in mall / big box parking lots to go shopping (car shows fine)
4) No family vacations
Hagerty said:
1) Carport is okay
2) 1-2 times per year driving to work
Now some of it is pretty straightforward, they can't really tell how many times i bring a car to work, but it seems like they only want these things brought out on sunny days for a drive / car show. Has anyone had claims under this coverage? Do policies echo the verbal restrictions? or is that just a way to weed out risk?
I'll pay double if it means I get to drive whenever I want, wherever I want, without worry they'll deny a claim because I popped into the mall!

Thanks Dan, in part. Most interested if someone has had claim experience in clear violation of advertised restrictions. See no experience to that end. Don't need insurance for the good times.
