How does one lose money on ordering a manual? There's a reason the 911R is worth double a 991 GT3 RS and the R is slower. The manual being a huge part of that.

With the new 7MT GT3 arriving I am not sure the R is worth that much more than the GT3 RS. Also, the premium is probably related the supply vs demand. Way fewer R's than GT3 RS's.

It 's a proper 6 speed manual. I suspect that they will be more rare as only true enthusiasts will buy them as the greater numbered powder puff market will opt for pdk in rainbow bright colors.

I like how you own the definition of "true enthusiast". Some enthusiasts enjoy the fastest, most technologically advanced transmission. Running through the gears on a PDK-S is not powder puff or boring. And I'll take a rainbow bright historic RS Porsche colour if I can get one.

I think the average GT3 or RS owner has changed over the years as of late. The majority buy them because its the latest and greatest then flip it shortly after for a profit, and NO thats not a true enthusiasts in my eyes.
Nothing wrong with PDK but if die hard Porsche nuts could get their hands on the new GT3 80% of them would be spec'd in manual.

not sure if that is a more moronic statement than the previous poster. I'll just flip a coin to decide
