I felt the same when the .2 update pictures were released, but its really growing on me now. .2 rear certainly looks 'nicer' in my eyes. But its all secondary preferences to me, the manual and new engine are what takes the cake

Touring or not should have no relevance given that an open build slot would allow you to spec the car with or without Touring package. Unless of course you are talking about finalized builds. I've been offered a 6MT for $250k. No thanks. For that money I'd rather an RS. If I'm paying ADM/over sticker, I'm building the car exactly how I want it.

Some consolation to those of us waiting. I was at Porsche Beijing today. All GT3s are allocated. In fact they don't have any sports cars since late last year, all sold and no more allocations. She said it's going to be a weird year without regular sports car allocations.

However she did say that they are expecting more GT3 allocations but they haven't been told when yet.

No info on RS.

I gotta dig up all the details on this stuff again.

When my Boxster was on its way a few years back, I actually tracked the wrong ship all the way across and then it came and left and didn't have my car on it.

It looks to me like the Siem Cicero has already left and I might make the Adriatic Highway on the 26th. It's scheduled to get to Halifax March 7th.

Does anyone have some detailed info on where to find the ship's name in the Porsche system? As I mentioned... I tracked the wrong boat last time and I'm not sure my SA knew where to find the name. Is it in there or do we just guess based on the schedules?

Edit: Actually... looking back at my neurotic postings from a few years back... it looks like I DID get confirmation once it was actually on a boat. I guess I just thought it might have been on a previous boat so I tracked that one until it came and went but once the next one was on its way, I got confirmation that it was loaded.
