I'm am no longer waiting by the phone.. not going to call sa/dealer... If my allocation doesn't show, then it wasn't meant to be.. and Porsche loses my potential 30 years of patronage.. I'll take my cash and buy some conservation land in Northern Ont or some beach front property in Nicaragua.. Likely better for the kids future if I build something anyway..
What's crazy though is if Porsche doesn't fulfill an allocation order for my brothers GT2RS.. If they are willing to ignore a customer who is willing to drop $400+k cash! .. well it's obvious that Porsche is making way too much $ to care about any of us.

I was pretty surprised myself when the sales lady told me I got the allocation back in July as the GT3 will be my first Porsche. Two of my friends got their confirmations in September from Pfaff for 2018 spring deliveries.

It really seems like Porsche Canada is trying to get new buyers in with the GT3. Likely to get new Cayenne and Panamera customers as well. It seems like some of the older GT3 owners are up in the air while new buyers are getting cars.

Seriously??
Ugh.
Ah well... still hoping... still driving the wheels off my Boxster in the meantime.

That’s only occurring at the factory dealership it seems.

I gotta say though hearing this is a tad frustrating. New to the brand customers have first allocations and repeat 911 customers are told to wait in the dark until sometime in the future. I get that it’s a different dealer and dealer may have their own customer acquisition strategy.
Seems like it’s a free for all by dealers with getting an allocation unless 918 or buy multiple vehicles every couple years. Guessing PCNA doesn’t put much thought into customer retention and brand loyalty approach when it comes to GT cars. they always have people lined up.
Anyway rant over. Extra salt absorbed into the wound.

I put my deposit 14 months ago. A buddy put one like 3 or 4 months ago. He's getting his in Jan I think. Crickets from the dealer I put a do at.they asked me come spec in March. Since then.. notta. I did get a 997 gt3 this spring. Already put almost 6000km on it. Just got cgt seats for it. And could care less about the 991.2. Not gunna beg someone too take 200 k. Can't stop driving the 997. Mezger ftw!!!

That’s definitely a good score! Are you West of Toronto? Would be great to hear the car in person. Have already sat in one at NYC auto show.
