Picking up a bunch for my 996 and a friend's X5. $6.79/L until the end of March. Also my local store had the Mann filter in stock for 15 bucks.

Apparently it's good oil, used for oil changes by the dealership and it's made by Shell.

To my knowledge no Porsche dealers in Ontario use Shell but it does meet the A40 spec Danny so good to go on that front. Supply will be an issue in the next 3 to 5 months as Shell currently has some big issues with their GTL plant in Qatar where the base oil for this product is produced.

I have seen it mentioned on the 996/997 forum so maybe it's the US dealers that have been using it. Correct on rating it's A40 and BMW LL01.

It's a lighter 5w40, can't find the HTHS numbers or a VOA but probably good for a daily driver
As always, keep short OCI intervals and be happy

Thanks for posting. I just picked up a case of Redline from Amazon for under $200 shipped. I'll pick up 10 liters from PS.
Dan, Ferrari uses the 5w40 as spec.
