Default Massa, Button, and now Rosberg?!?

It will certainly be a different year in 2017 without Massa, Button, and Rosberg. I understand Rosberg's decision to retire.

How amusing it would be if Hamilton's new teammate beat him and won the World Driver Championship next year also...

the only person more thrilled about the retirement announcement than Rosberg is Hamilton .

Massa and Button were expected at ends of career. Rosberg, at least for me was a total surprise. WOnder if Mercedes will go for Vettel if they can manage it?

That would be one big buyout. I'm pretty sure Vettel has a 3 year deal close to 150 mil

Imagine being Alonso and offered the ride... Partner up with Hamilton after what happened with McLaren, but now on a different team that has a fractured paddock crew already. I would say 3, maybe 4 races until you see something similar to an OHL bench clearing brawl....

.....and that, mercifully, would be the end of Hamilton and his antics.......

I'd like F1 without Ecclestone and Co.

I read on Racer.com today that Hamilton issued a challenge to Mercedes. He wants a driver that can be consistent like Rosberg, but not consistently better than Hamilton.

Like Set/Kimi combo? Fast, consistent, but not threatening?
