Mine just showed up in the mail one day. Dealer was nice enough to order it for me. It came in a nice package and I'm happy to have it.

you guys I think are taking this far too seriously , its not any type of legal document you would want to forge or have to make your car worth more.
Its just a fun thing to have that shows pride of ownership.
The original question was is it worth getting ? for me it is as I am a proud Porsche Owner and like a momento of that to hang in my office. .

There was a guy around years ago who had a letter, signed by junior guys at one of the local dealers, claiming the aero stuff on his 993 was factory. I was never convinced because it looked after market and if it was real, why not just get a COA?

Great for resale of the vehicle.
I collect them and hard mount them on my garage wall.
Again, for restoration cars or rare cars it can be a great tool to figure out what wheels and options were supposed to be on the car.
Of course the COA is not always accurate. Interior color might be incorrect sometimes etc.
But it is enough of a guide to get you on the way.
