Drove back from Thornbury with the top down yesterday - not a good weekend to have the cars stored!
Sound clip with the top down with my phone up by the NAV - my mechanic called Friday night and said to start moving the revs up. So am taking it up to around 6k but not winding it all the way out - mucho fun and pulls like crazy!!

Today I put my car away! Boo, got one last amazing drive in this beautiful weather but it looks like it may be downhill soon, so battery tender and fuel stabiliser engaged!

Well, this was actually last weekend. Took off the stock rims with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and put on my OZ Ultraleggera HLT rims with Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 all season tires.

Oil change today and off to sleep for the winter starting Sunday. Weather gets pretty nasty next week and we're off to Florida the following week until January. Was a good summer while it lasted.........

Oil change at my Indy today. Knows his stuff.
Anyway...another winter tip.
Dryer sheets around the batter compartment, under the hood and anywhere else in addition to the steel wool in the pipes. Apparently mice hate dryer sheets.
He just finished working on a car stored in a barn. Mice got in and ate all the electrical behind the gauges right down to the nub to the point where he couldn't actually use the unit to graft new wires. All in - 17K bill.
