Hmmm....admittedly you would have to add Cayman numbers to be realistic. Still.

Right. That ram is in toronto not Europe. My bad. I moved the photos to one place to upload all of the photos at once and moved one wrong. I only realize now.

I just checked ford.de and the mustang starts at 38 000 euros, a Carrera starts at 96 000 Euros, which 2.5x more for a base Carrera (that no one really buys). The mustang is NEW to Europe this year and its great value. No wonder.

Plus like Carl said, in Poland (Germany's neighbour) people love American cars, and there is a (relatively) big Mustang community.

Yes. Poland has an amazing american car culture.

The prices will differ in Europe because of the taxes. I believe holand has the highest.

Testimonial: 2 years ago, in the summer, I was travelling north from Barcelona. I just crossed the border into France, south of Perpignan. The highways are massive with wide, 4 lanes. I was driving my volkswagon Sharon at 120km. Suddenly, on the right side of my vehicle, I watched a black 69 Mustang Boss , with French plates, leaving a gas station and getting ready to merge with traffic. What caught my attention was the beautiful exhaust sound with no pollution controls- it was loud and exciting, and he was moving. He blew by me, accelerating the whole time, and aimed for the far left lane. I estimate he was going about 180 km in the left lane. In about 15 seconds I could no longer see him, but I could still hear that exhaust from a distance. It was magical. Will never forget that.

America has exported their motion entertainment industry (television/movie industry) to the rest of the world. I clearly remember watching the Dukes of Hazzards, knight rider, top gear, happy days, etc .. in the evening , outside, in Albufeira Portugal. People would be glued to the TV. From this, I would conclude, Europeans have craved and bought into the Western lifestyle which includes having a North American made car. Specifically mustangs, camaros, vettes. So, absolutely, I can fully agree that a mustang is the #1 desired vehicle.

Unfortunately, Europeans will slowly find out why GM, Chrysler required government bailouts to keep them going.

So what? Mustang and 911 aren't really comparable in any meaningful way IMO.

As a Ford dealer, I can tell you that China has an insatiable appetite for the 2.3 Mustang Coupe, where they fetch more than $100,000 USD. Due to the weak Canadian dollar, they are sourcing from Canada instead of the US.
The new Mustang was introduced to the world at the 2015 Paris Auto Show and was a huge hit. Like the 911, the Mustang is now global.
A number of people in the Vancouver Porsche community are ordering the Shelby GT 350 and really enjoying them.

As Porsche moves towards small displacement turbo charged engines and automatic transmissions, would not one expect enthusiasts to move to Mustangs, Vettes and Vipers? I'd take a GT 350R over most of the newer Porsche offerings.

The amount of Dodge Rams in Germany is insane... I saw them everywhere and they all had trailer hitches.. even saw a 2500 Diesel towing a BMW race car.

Look how wide it is compared to the street.

I get it. I'd buy a Mustang instead of a 991.

My '86 5.0 Mustang has been in Europe since '95. Yellow with black stripes. Love driving it when I'm there but that happens less and these days. Gearheads over there love the car.
