My neighbors 16yo son is keen to get into (or at least try) karting. Any recommendations for tracks or programs in and around town?

Goodwood in particular has shown up as a possibility.

RK, both my Daughter and Son did the Rookie Series, I highly recommend it. Extra coaching and programs are available for promising drivers. They are now affiliated with the Mosport Kart track, the weekly racing takes place at Goodwood but the Rookie Series Runoffs take place at the Gosport track.
