The Pepita cloth seats are awesome, and make the LWB seats look great - I have the cloth on my 50th with 18-way, and love the look; it really stands out as something unexpectedly different. I guess if you are leather-obsessed, then that's OK, each to their own, I am fine with your choice.
Why is the single-mass flywheel not offered in Canada? - it's a choice on the UK and US sites; Herr Preuninger discusses it in very favourable terms in the evo You Tube interview

I'm sure its a error in the configurer, as is likely the dual-disk clutch...

Well this is the 5th year of a typical 6-7 year model cycle so I would imagine another limited edition model before a new 99* shows itself. Something along the lines of the GT3RS 4.0 or 918 Editions

Tried to buy one ... really did.
No dice.
Dealer told me 25 cars to Canada and 19 went to 918 owners. Remainder spread over the dealer network. Obviously not every dealer got a free allocation. My dealer didn't.
Too bad. I liked the spec.

Sucks big time.
No 991RS, No R, looks like its going to be a Ferrari 458 for me

At these crazy RS and R prices (or what the flippers will want) there are much more exciting cars available IMO. Speciale, 650S, Huracan...all in another league.

Love the specs of the car, but, in terms of looks, don't you think new models are beginning to have too much bling? Isn't the idea (indeed, philosophy) of Porsche a simple, smooth look--no frills, no fancy stripes or glue-ons, no extra angles and bangles? The one that gave us this thread, especially, with the stripes on the top as well as on the side, cheapens the effect, don't you think?
