Just as well she has not figured out how to tax air or we would all have metered oxygen masks. Naturally, as always the reality will be worse the then forecast.

"Ontario owes $315 billion and keeps borrowing."
it was a bad play by the liberals once again ... spendatures through the roof and the drastic drop in gas prices has meant a proportionately sized drop in government revenue from the associated taxes . So what you cant make up in volume , make up in margin I guess... and they will be rolling it in once gas prices go up again .

So next January is the start date. On an other note a guy i know who runs a small business said; when I start worrying about the price of gas means I have much bigger problems.'

More and more like New York State (most taxed state in America, gas and otherwise).
When the Beatles wrote "Taxman" they were referring to NYS

I recall when she was running for school trustee and came to our door. The most unpleasant candidate experience I have ever had. Instead of listening to my concerns and answering them thoughtfully, she lectured me for quite some time until I told her to leave.
No change over the years...she knows best.

It killed me to think how much more taxes I was going to pay when I moved from Ontario to Quebec (30 years ago) so I commuted for as long as I could. Even today I have employees who commute back and forth but the gap between the two provinces has come down so much that they tell me it almost isn't worth it given added gas and wear and tear on their cars.
Anyway, Quebec still wins (looses) hands down but thanks to Wynn I wonder for how much longer.
In the mean time we still have Justin playing selfie-Robin Hood regardless where you live. (BTW I hear they are thinking of a 1% GST hike. Wonder if Quebec will lower its Quebec tax as they tax the GST and raised it when the Feds lowered the GST). All this to say Ontarians it could be worse.
Sorry for the political rant.
