Default 2015 Auto show.

Good mix of the usual.

A Singer from the US, concept VW GTI (I wonder if it'll pass emissions ), new NSX & Ford GT were nice.

Le Mans cars were pretty cool.
Notice the "PORSCHE" insignia in the Macan's headlight. Only vehicle that had it.

Oops. Duh, my bad.
Side view is pretty much the same. There are 'slight" changes front and rear. I'm not sure about the rear vertical slats though

I agree re vertical slats. They look like an afterthought. Nice pics!

The Alfa Romeo Giulia was one of my favourites, and being offered in 6speed manual is a bonus considering it doesn't seem too many sports sedans offer it anymore.

Thanks, Will...nice shots!
I'm liking the 991.2 front and rear end.
How does the graphite blue metallic paint (cabrio) look in the flesh?

I have a hard time warming up to the color or colors like it.
Seems more to me like a glossy primer but that's just me. To each his own.

Was disappointed that the Turbo was not at the CIAS. But here are the pics I captured in Detroit. We also did not get the "guest lounge" from Detroit....

Honestly people complain alot online about the various styling details of the 991.2... but when it's right there in front of you... all the changes are very subtle. The styling changes are nothing to cry about... just the typical Porsche evolution process.

I really like the 991.2. The integrated front grille lights blend seamlessly.
However, I think I'd like it more if the vertical rear slats were horizontal.
It' would flow better and match the visible body panel seams.

Designers are way more smarters than me.
I don't like, then I like, then I end up buying.
There was a time when I would not pay $1ooo for air conditioning.
Installed my own stereo. Painted my own calipers.
Now its Brembo, Bose and BBS.
The car show even has minions to wipe up my drool and greasy fingerprints.
And as a potential customer, they have to listen too me.
I tried to get Thursday night press passes. But they fell through.
It's the best night. Food, booze, all the cars are unlocked.

I'm bad news at press events or launches with open bars... No Porsche lounge this year? Bummer. I remember one from a few years ago and the cute girl handing out lattes.. Same deal at BMW
