An interesting minivan?
Not a Porsche... but many of you are family guys that are forced into a minivan purchase. The latest Pacifica from Chrysler certainly demonstrates a sensible evolution from the initial design.

I see many similarities between this and a Mercedes R-Class... Interesting...

The integrated vacuum got an "ahhh ha!" out of me.. after just pulling out the kids' car seats from our Rogue to haul some stuff around I could have definitely used that.

Missing the stick figure family on the back window.
But it's still a Chrysler minivan no matter what they do to it.
I knew they sucked and now there's proof.

I liked the Mercedes R class until someone pointed out there's not much difference between its looks and that of a hearse... and I thought, yeah I can see that.
The new Pacifica looks real nice (for a van). Chrysler designs are looking up. 200 is really nice!
Now about the quality.....!!!!

It would be "what's that noise"?
"A vacuum! Not that you'd know what that is, or a needle and thread, or an iron".
Posting from the safety of my office chair.
No RIP for BigSmoke. Don't need no "accidents".

Got a loaner Honda Odyssey last year for a few days and it had an integrated vaccuum. It's a neat feature if you've got a young family and go on road trips. Beautiful minivan if you're in the market for one, but it's a freakin' huge one at that.

I like minivans. This one looks great and they finally have the stow-and-go both operating flawlessly and reasonably comfortable (was just down in Detroit and checked it out).

My first reaction was to say something about "yeah, it'll have the typical reliability of a Caravan, which is very little" but then I remember that we've had 2 Odysseys in a row that have had significant problems. Glass houses, and all that...

it looks pretty ugly to me. I have only 2 kids so I don't need a minivan. Funny how some parents with one or two kids think they need a minivan or escalade...sometimes I ask friends like this: do you have a cottage or something that you drive to each week...answer is usually no.
One of my buddies required the engine to be changed under warranty on a honda odyssey after only 50k kms.
Great idea to have the electric engine for daily use and combustion for trips.

We had a mini van, the original and with two little kids in car seats i thought it was the most practical invention of all time.
