While I have some familiarity with the workings of Google I never cease to be amazed at what I don't find. The existence of Mantis and Worldpac is news to me.

And here I thought I was doing the Canadian P car enthusiasts a giant favour.

So I just paid a visit to the above sites. Mantis lists 11 products for a 944 and nothing for a 928?! As for Worldpac, it looks like I picked the wrong time to give up retailing -- it's a wholeseller.

So is Auto Camping. They appear to no longer sell to the general public. Some stuff is cheaper at ACL but WorldPac has better availability

Worldpak is a warehouse as far as I know, if you place an order through http://www.autopartsway.ca or other online retailers the parts get shipped from Worldpak.

Hi Jason, your site looks good, I'll keep you in mind for my next order but I see that your Shipping Details does not mention shipping via USPS. USPS is a must for Canadian online shoppers as it offers low shipping and most important lower brokerage fees, I suggested the same to Wayne at Pelican Parts early 2000.

Mark Lue thanks. Right now there is no check-out for international orders, but just shoot me an email and I can get you a quote.
I only use USPS for Canada.

After much research into a massive parts list for my current project, its looking like a large portion of parts are now cheaper or on par with US parts prices.

Hopefully we don't see a rise in Canadian prices as the dollar effect trickles down the supply line.

Yes, if some of the old guard could put together a list of Canadian parts places they use that would be awesome. As googling mostly comes up with autopartsway.

Already happening.
3 months ago an injector for a 911sc was about $47 at autopartsway now it's $82.

Just be sure to boycott any supplier who refuses to ship USPS, and or does use UPS. UPS is the spawn of the devil. There's a reason those shirts are brown.

I ship out everyday using USPS for international orders. UPS and Fedex suck for international shipments with all the broker fee's etc..., but their tracking is night & day compared to USPS.

Wilco.

Order placed: January 6th, 2016

Order receipt (email) rec'd January 6th, 2016

Shipping information provided (email) January 7th, 2016

Parcel rec'd January 20th, 2016. The shipping origin was indeed Florida. The package label indicated AES Exemption NOEEI 30.37(a) which can indicate a number of possibilities but was most likely (I think): A shipment (regardless of value) is going to Canada and does not require an export license.
The shipping package was a bubble envelope. The product -- a new fuel filter for one of my 924s' was in one piece.

Of course, you organize the GTA 928 run and BBQ. Some day I hope to attend. It sounds amazing, isn't really that far away and is fun to read about.

Right now you do restoration services, n'est pas?

Roger
