My Son-In-Law's Band Got a New Gig!
My son-in-law's band (The Dead Mechanics) will be playing the City of Barrie's New Years Eve Downtown Countdown. The Sheepdogs will headline the show. We just found out last week and the boys are pumped!
"The City of Barrie invited local acts to apply for the opportunity to perform on the Downtown Countdown stage. The Dead Mechanics were selected from over 30 submissions to play in front of a hometown crowd, and they will put on a performance not to be missed."

Pics from Downtown Countdown
New Years Eve, Downtown Countdown, Barrie City Hall Square...the Dead Mechanics opened the celebration for the headliners (The Sheepdogs). Justin, Jesse, Jimmy & Trevor did great! The packed crowd loved 'em! A little cold out, but it didn't appear to deter anyone from having a good time. The guys will be enjoying a break for a couple of weeks...then plan to record their first full-length album in March.
