Fabspeed feedback....
I am looking at purchasing a cat back Fabspeed for my 03 C4S. What is the consensus on overall quality and increased db levels with this set up?

Three Wheelin'
Lots of Fabspeed debate in the ferrari world. Search f chat, especially the 355 forum. I had my headers (prone to cracking on the 355) rebuilt instead of going Fabspeed.
However, they seem to do well in the p car world. YMMV of course.

Chris,
Do you know if they are the Maxflo mufflers or the Supercup exhaust? If they are the Maxflo they are the ones that are more street friendly and I will take them.

working on a 987 today with full Fabspeed exhaust(headers, cats, mufflers).
Sounds good, a little drone under cruise but not bad at all.

Fabspeed
Looks like the used mufflers may not be available. If anyone here knows of any other used Fabspeed mufflers I would appreciate the contact information.
Thanks for your responses!

Burning Brakes
I have modified Fabspeed on my 996 TT. If buying new I think you need then it is my understanding they have slightly different set up for cars with Tiptronic and cabriolets to head off the drone issue. My car is a Tip/Cab and no discernible drone.

I have the MaxFlo exhaust and the Porsche Competition Air Intake System installed on my 2006 C4 cab.
I had the exhaust system on for a while before I installed the intake. There is a pleasant but not huge change in the exhaust sound with the MaxFlo and I did not have any drone.
The weird part of the install is that when you use the stock cats there is a bout a 1\2" gap between the pipes. Not a big deal with the 3" band clamps but I guess it is their way of encouraging you to upgrade to their hi-flo cats
With the addition the Air Intake the sound under hard acceleration particularly about 5000 RPM is outstanding (looks real cool too). I don't get too excited about "dyno" increases but the "Butt-O-Meter" tells me the throttle response and acceleration are improved.
I bought both of the exhaust and intake used so I am happy with the results but I am not sure I would fork over $3,000 USD for the new stuff from Fabspeed
