Bronson7, it would be nice to see your Yellow GT3 in person. Thanks for showing interest. Same to you 993GT.

For those who have never been on a Track, there are three run Groups, Beginner, Intermediate and Experienced. Or come to watch and see what it is all about and get your questions answered.
Thanks for the open invite John. I've never been on a track, might just take you up for a ride in your RS if the date works.

Thank you.

Will we see a Rennlist Members Day at Grand Bend Raceway in 2016? It appears there is lots of interest so far according to the response on the other thread.

Would like to see those GT4 Rebels at the Bend in 2016. There have been a number of Cayman Rs in the past.

I hear rumours of a Chumpcar 924 that is being prepared.

Will we see a few 718s before next winter?

Goodbye January - Spring is coming

What will you be running in 2016?????

I'm in for June 3rd and Sept 23rd. Aug 19th is cutting it too close for my wedding, don't think the fiancée would appreciate that

Interested in seeing how the turbo is going to fare on the tight track.

I noticed tonight on Porsche of London's Facebook page that they just delivered another Lava Orange GT3 RS. I hope we see it at Grand Bend this summer. I'm anxious for the arrival of my white one.

I'm new to Rennlist and to the area. I am looking forward to running my car for the first time on the track at Grand Bend, with some friends and meet some Rennlisters.
Thursday nights once per month..

So, what do you need to participate in on track lapping? Is there a in-class education session to complete?

I have no track experience and no idea of the requirements.

Grand Bend Raceway requires you to wear a helmet. They have 3 Groups - New - Intermediate - Experienced.

Maybe post the week you are entering and some of us will be there to welcome you and help you enjoy your First Car Lapping event.

We do have fun.

Join us these Thursday Nights even if you don't enter. Spectators are welcome. However, the best experience is on the Track.

Bring along (or rent) a helmet, some common sense, check your ego at the gate, check your tires & brakes, then get ready to have some fun.

John showed me the ropes when I first started tracking and there are plenty of us there to help pay it forward. Perhaps review the flags and their meanings, but this is reviewed before the start of the lapping sessions.

Please don't blame me when you get hooked

Thanks John and GR. I think my wife and I will attend one of the lapping events as spectators, to see how things are run and then try tracking after that.

The Porsche of London Days do have a class room session as well as instructors to introduce you to Car Lapping. You can pre register by calling Porsche of London. I usually talk to Diane.

Spectating is another great way to investigate and get your questions answered. Maybe get a ride in a Porsche as well.

Once again, we are very fortunate to have Grand Bend Raceway in this part of Ontario.
