Putting her to bed

Putting her to bed
I think this weekend I will get things done to put my beloved 911 away. After only owning her a short while I have grown very fond of this car. I owned a 2006 vette from brand new until this past spring and only put 22,000k on it. Since buying the 911 in June I have put 10,000 km on it. To say I love it is an understatement.
Friday / Saturday plans are to put it on the hoist change the oil and transmission gear oil. Put new coils and plugs in and put her to bed after a thorough cleaning.
Found a smoking deal on coils as well here in Aurora guys $67 each

I hear you Jamie. I put on 14k on my 996 4S since June and just put her to bed on Monday after blowing a tire. Sad time of the year.

No spacers. Yup! Got lucky.

And then got her home safely, put back stock wheels, long wash and tucked her away.

KLCC 88- That tire looks pretty bald to start with. Is that belt/cord showing? Do you think running it that low on the tread added to your blow out? Or did you hit something?
PSS- your garage needs a car lift/storage. Christmas is around the corner? Black Friday deals.
Big Smoke the trouble maker.

KLC I can't believe you used the spare. I remember on the 993 you were supposed to put the spare on the front and the front tire on the back if you have a rear flat. Not sure if they still recommend this on the 996s, but the spare looks funny on the rear.
Why not just call CAA? You really need to finish off the walls and floor in the garage.
