Default The "Non Winter StorageThread of 2015"

Put a coat of Menzerna Power Lock Sealant on this morning before the snow and ice hits at some point in the future. Its been so nice though that haven't put the winter tires on yet. Maybe next week... went for a nice drive too. Can't imagine I will get the top down too many more times before April

I got in a nice top down drive today too. Fear it's the last for this year!

Do you use a hardtop? Have the windows ever been stuck and not drop down in cold temps?

I will have to put her away when the salt trucks come out, but I do drive it on dry winter days. Does that count?

Drove her into Toronto and back tonight. Been a while since I've had the 911 downtown, but man, we complain about the crappy roads here in Hamilton, but Toronto is worse! Sport suspension + Jarvis and the Gardner is brutal!

Still, had the windows open and the music on loud on the way home. Nice drive.

No hard top. I just take any heavy snow off when required but generally try to avoid touching the top itself. I haven't noticed any increased wear on tops on cars of similar age that are stored.

The windows will freeze occasionally but usually only if freezing rain or a thaw/freeze cycle. What I have found works best is to use an old credit card and gently run it along the lower window trim. Works for me!

Did you paint the lobsters yourself? I have knock off turbo rims that I got from Simply Tire that are showing their age and was thinking of repainting.

Also your car definitely looks lowered, correct? I have considered lowering for my C4S but have always been concerned with winter. Whats your experience?

Thanks

Excellent comparison.
Like tennis shoes and winter boots.
You can wear your STAN SMITH's all year if you like?

winters on here too! I always enjoy the difference in ride going from summers to winters and winters back to summers

I also ended up putting a coat of plasti dip on my winters this year

that stuff is amazing and so easy to put on

now just need to find winters for the GT4 .....
