Love the look of the wrap Mann! I am taking the plunge on the 993 next spring and my wife is now asking about wrap colour options for her Boxster S lol

PS you gotta fix your Avatar, looks like the car was squeezed between 2 Peterbilts...

They have tons of colour choices.
The avatar is intentional. Lol.

This I agree.

BTW, OP, I'm sure you've heard the line of opinions, @$$holes, everybody has one, so don't sweat the comments here.

How the shop neatly trimmed the wrap material to follow the contour of the various body panels show they are meticulous with the finishing details even with those areas normally not seen, so as far as I'm concerned it's a good job given the constraints.

Next time I paint a car I'll meticulously mask off the cut off lines like this warp and then point out to people how precise the cut off lines are and then wait for them to tell me I did an amazing job. Wrap or paint makes no difference, the devil is always in the details. Every time the doors open you will be reminded how you've cheaped out when wrapping this nice car. 5 years is not exactly what I would call temporary, it's a long time to be looking at a half finished job.

OP: lesson is, Rennlist is no different then any other forums. You take the chance of being criticized when posting here. Just hope you take away some new learnings, make some friends and go on some nice drives. Criticisms are free of charge! Take it or leave it...hopefully it evens out! :-)

Really? Why the heck would you wrap that?.......beautiful unique colour in great shape. Wraps are nice I guess but imnsho nothing beats the look of real paint.

I agree Ron and have really grown to love the colour but the paint is starting to show its age and for the $ vs a full blown repaint I thought it would be cool to change things up.

Definitely leaning towards a proper period colour. My wife is trying to convince me that arena red would look great over cashmere but we shall see. I have an entire winter to decide

I also think a wrap is a good way to protect the original paint.

I know there is a lot of debate on the paint protection factor Danny but I agree with you and that would definitely be another +

Maybe I will settle on my top 3 colour choices and put it to a Rennlist Canada vote
