Default Best place to get coilovers in the GTA

Do you guys have any shop recommendations for where to pick up KW V3s or Bilstein PSS10s? I have a 997.1 C2S with PASM. Pricing seems to be all over the place.

Anyone have a set for sale?

Best pricing I found on Bilstein for for PASM 997 right now is Bilsteincanada

There used to be deals in the US, until our dollar started to tank. Best deals are all up here now

I have no idea if they carry them, but germanparts.ca or tdotperformance.ca might be worth a shot?

Are you installing these yourself?
If not, I would let the installers get them for you. Ya they will make a couple of bucks, but it should be the same as they would cost you.
Nothing worse that have a mechanic saying "You supplied the parts, not our fault they don't fit"

Speedstar in Markham is where I have purchased my last 5 sets of KW coilovers.

Ask for Albert

A part of me is thinking about going for BC Racing coilovers. My car is a 100% street car and I'm having a hard time with the idea of paying 4K for KWs or PSS10s..

Am I nuts?

I was just pricing out PSS10's for my 993 for kicks (I have older PSS9's), and BilsteinCanada wants $4250. Gert @ Carnewal is selling for ~€2000 shipped.

I like buying locally, but it doesn't seem like local prices are competitive.

Carnewal is where I buy Coilovers and other bits from as well. Fast shipping that's actually cheaper than USA-Canada

It's happened enough times to me where people bring their own parts and they don't fit.. I triple check everything before it gets taken apart... Nothing worse than a car holding up the lift while the client runs around.. Or worse I run around looking for the right stuff...

It's a gray area.. but usually you are correct no warranty but since I like to keep a good reputation I will work something out with the client...
For some reason people love to buy El Cheapo "Performance" brake packages online.. by performance I mean "Crossdrilled" rotors and pads. I warn them saying I've never heard of said brand etc.. The pads might be loud, dust all that jazz. I install them and a couple days later "My brakes make noise when cold"

That being said if someone showed up with a 996 wanting to install crappy BC Coilovers I would warn them that these aren't the right choice for a Pcar, That I am not sure of fitment or even if the Dampronic would work correctly. To be honest I've installed enough cheap coil over kits to know that they simply don't last. So I would decline and advise other solutions.

LOL gregster, I get your point about the BC coils. I think KWs are probably in order. BC isn't PASM compliant anyways.

I'd love to buy second hand, but the options are slim in the parts marketplace.

I've sent them an email already.
