The Cayenne is the best combination of sport and luxury that you can possibly get in an SUV hands down... You will never regret buying one, unless of course your luck is as bad as mine and you bought an 04 CS... but even then it's hard to regret because the SUV is just so amazingly capable and comfortable to haul the family + toys etc anywhere and everywhere.
Awesome, I followed the saga a little bit, cool that you got it all fixed! We're weighing out the E70 X5 (most likely diesel) vs a 958 S or Diesel. My wife likes the BMW because of the (sad) 3rd row jump seats available in some models. In my mind they're useless and I'm pushing for the Porsche. We already have a 911, it only makes sense, right?! LOL.

edit - Plus, I can now drive like a HOONIGAN (as if there was ever any other option...)
I'm driving the 993, and they're arriving in the babymobile a bit later.. win/win

Lots of interest on the Porsche boards and instagram; this is shaping up to be a pretty big event with a cool mix of cars!

Again: All Porsches and Porsche fans are welcome!!

I might be out. Sprang a massive oil leak the other day, left a trail into the garage and probably lost half a litre at least within 30 min. after shutting it down. Can't drive anywhere until I fix it, and I have a sneaking suspicion the engine might have to come out. That's my project for early next week.

6 hours? For a newbie maybe.

I have it down to 90 minutes out, 60 back in, plus whatever time it takes to fix whatever's leaking.

But I think I've got the major one fixed. There's still a slow leak from the RMS, but I'll probably leave that till fall to fix. I just don't feel like doing it this week.

Yes well since I am a lot younger and can do it even faster I didn't want to brag or insult you...

I have pulled powertrain in 30min before... mind you that's on a race car and it's a lot simpler... My car I can do in 90min at a reasonable pace. If I'm rushing I can do it even faster. All I was saying was you only need an evening to get it done... you have 4 evenings until the meet... no excuses! lol If you need help getting parts I can get them same day if you will pickup in Whitby.

Let me know if I can help with anything

What was your major? Return tube? valve cover? Another oil line?

K, cool! Pumped that the cars are coming back together guys! Clive, I thought you sold your Targa, this is awesome news that it's just getting some one on one wrenching love.

Regarding the West End Convoy to Oakville on Saturday morning. I will not be able to join you guys, but definitely still have this happen. Nothing better than a whole crew of Porsches in a swarm heading to an event. Here are the details from the other page:

Convoy Details:
7:20 at Queensway Cineplex (1025 The Queensway, Etobicoke, ON M8Z 6C7)
7:45 Departure to Porsche Centre Oakville
