Default Porsche Centre Oakville (service dept.) - another happy customer

I just wanted to say how impressed I am with the level of service over at Porsche Centre Oakville.

They recently completed a Bluetooth install, and some other maintenance items on my car. They were handled quickly, professionally, and correspondence was just plain easy (which is refreshing).

I was chatting with Laith, the service consultant, while my car was being brought up to the front. I mentioned a minor detailing issue on my wife's vehicle (1" pen mark on white headliner) that I was concerned about removing, and wanted some tips from his detailing staff. Long story short, he told me to bring it in, they removed the pen mark, and delivered the car back glistening. All of this on a non-Porsche vehicle. Impressive.

Keep up the good work guys. I'll be back!

+1 They are very good at what they do. If a service issue ever comes up, Tom Berger (head of after-sales) deals with it immediately. I've been going there since they opened in the fall of 2013.

Bluetooth was ~$1100ish. Front brakes around ~$1500, and some other misc. stuff.

$1100 for the Porsche OEM unit (well... OEM if you ticked the BT box on this option list).

I've trialled several units (Motorola, Novero, Parrot hard wired), and they were all beyond lousy. As I use the car for business, the upgrade was worth it.

Not sure 'poor' relates to anyone driving a 997

I've been through a few $100-$400 units, and was just fed up. Tired of wasting money. With the other visor mount options, I would have to 'ease' off the throttle when the phone rings (if I could hear it). No need to do that now
