Default CamsPorsche is Back! This time a 991

Hey Rennlisters,

I'll start by saying what many ex-911 owners have said when going to another car or marque "I should never have sold my 911". Well...yes.

Let me introduce my 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera 7-speed that I just picked up today from Oakville Porsche. She only had 345kms on the clock as a used car and I feel I nabbed a great deal - also came with tinted windows and clear bra by OP (I can't believe this car sat for a year with no mileage). The car is optioned with:

276 - Automatically dimming mirrors
342 - Seat heating (front)
411 - 19-inch Carrera wheel
446 - Wheel Caps
487 - 7-speed Manual Transmission
583 - Smoking package
651 - Electric sunroof
844 - Multi-function Steering Wheel
A1 - Black
AJ - Black leather front seats
P05 - Sport Seats Plus
P3H - BOSE® Audio Package

And what a drive and sound from the 3.4L flat 6. Love it. The only mod I want to do is find a set of 20" Porsche wheels and that's it. Simplicity rules with this car. Winters were installed today and the buying experience and customer service of Porsche Oakville was superb.

Congrats, can't wait to see it in action for Hershey!

Did you get rid of the S4, or keep it?

Thanks for all of the props guys!

Yes, the lease thread is closed and yes I got rid of the S4 (received a really strong trade in on it). It is a nice car with lots of features and its a fast sedan but it doesn't stir me like a 911 does. It doesn't have the same outward view, handling or sound. Plus it depreciates like a water tap. I'll admit I was upside down on that car and its the first time I have ever been so in a car and it pissed me off. With NSX's and 911's I have never lost a penny on their ownership so its nice to be back in a 911.

Oh yes...Hershey will be fun!
