The 911/50 would drive like its from another universe compared to a 993. For the money it would be a fun car but in no way comparable. The OP also changed the rear lights, purchased snow tires and ordered a custom steering wheel. So it's odd that it's going so fast. I'd be checking carfax and hope Quebec actually enforces that kind of stuff. Just smells fishy to me.......no matter how low mileage the 993 is.
[COLOR="Red"]Why is everyone here so skeptical.
The car was bought and paid for at a local Porsche dealer.
There are no liens,no accidents and hasn't been in for a service yet.
It's like new!

If you are happy thats all that really matters. I'd love to know the reason you are getting rid of it after customizing it the short period you owned it. I assume you just don't like it. 1000km. In the winter in Montreal seems like you couldn't really even test it out. And yes, I'm a huge skeptic.

Good luck with the sale.

Just me, but aren't people in the market for $150,000+ cars pretty picky about they want, and would just order one the way they want it?

All my vehicle purchase prices combined don't equal $150,000cdn. My out the door prices over the past 20yrs....

95 Integra - $24K
92 FZR 600 - $3K
00 VFR800 - $6.5K
02 Jetta - $30K
04 Polaris 550Fan - $2K
01 Boxster S - $25K
------------
Total $90.5K cdn. - and I still have the last 4....

Yes it's his money. But as soon as you post on the net you will get opinions from others whether you like it or not.

Default CAP

I have a $ limit on cars and I'm over it with the 993.
The 991 is a great car but hardly worth the money.
Almost all the 997s were as good for a lot less money which I'm looking for now.

LOL.. Wow, I've loved the 993 for years... when I finally pick one up, I'd better keep it a secret.

but this has nothing to do with the OP's car purchasing habits; based upon his history on the forums and the numerous self-customized cars he has purchased over the years.

quite the lovely collection of previous 911s i must say.

I am not posting with any malice at all. As others have said ,it's your money. The price is the price so why even order it in the first place? Your statement about the 997 imho is incorrect. I traded in my 2009 C2S for the 911/50. My 997.2 was a great car and whoever got it purchased a low mileage beauty. BUT, the 991 is superior in almost every way. It is certainly much more roomy, refined and comfortable. If I had 60-70K in my budget the 997 is great.....but it's no 991. Owning 60 Porsches is quite remarkable. I don't think Seinfeld or Leno can beat that. I find this whole scenario quite remarkable.
