My DD is a Q5, and it's a fantastic vehicle. When I'm set to retire it, the Macan will get a look.

A few options + tax and it's north of $100K for a little SUV. Damn, that's a lot of coin.

agreed... although i have a feeling 90% of the new owners will be leasing for about 1500+taxes monthly.

don't forget, the Cayenne saved Porsche and they have sold more of those than cars since introduced. It allows porsche to do projects like 918 etc.
Probably very small but looks nice in pics.
btw Touareg uses 3.6 VR6 engine for the v6 gas also has v6 TDI (which I think is same as in Cayenne pretty much) not sure what the v8 is

I believe that the Touareg V6 and Cayenne V6 are the same BUT the Macan V6 is the same as in the Panamera S which is an all-new Porsche-exclusive engine.

You mean Macan V6. Yep, both engines are based on the new Panamera units (themselves derivatives of the Panamera/Cayenne V8s). The VR6 doesn't mate with this PDK and would have necessitated a higher hood line.

I optioned mine for just south of 60k. Only options I want are Air suspension, trailer hitch, dimming mirrors, parking sensor, floor mats. I imagine once the base model comes out it will be even cheaper.

Looks like a ton of room where the seats end and get folded up. A compact SUV that also can tow 5000 lbs, impressive.

Beautiful but needs at least 150 more bhp. I'd wait for the Turbo V8.
