Well its hard to believe it has almost been a year since we took The Fly apart. And today is a major milestone as it is once again Aga Blau all over. Here are a few cell phone shots. The color looks different in these pics of course.

Thank you, i have yet to see it myself first thing tomorrow morning. These pics were sent to me by the shop manager a few hours ago.

So far everyone in the family loves it too. Aga Blue is a rare color and I was lucky to be able to order the paint pre-mixed by the original manufacturer Glasurit. This is what Aga blue looked like in 1967. I cant stop staring at it, just what the doctor ordered

+1 on loving the colour.
Lucky to have found a car with a such a unique shade. Can't wait to see it fully assembled!

Love the colour! Most folks choose a bright one (as will I most likely when I paint mine). Nice to see a more subtle colour. I definitely can't wait to see this in person.

BTW, the coating you were referring to on the last page is POR15. It's a rust inhibitor.

If you do manage though to go to Hershey with it, just don't fire it up in the middle of the night while everyone is sleeping.

Thanks Patryk, it is definitely a rare color, which makes this car a little more spacial.

Thank you Chris, I also like brighter colours on Porsches, I did order a Speed Yellow 911. I just thought Blue will be a nice contrast to Yellow. I think it is.
Yes, POR15 thats the stuff. We sprayed this stuff anywhere we could. Even covered the floors inside first and than went over it with blue. Most of the interior, fender wells, frunk, engine bay, the entire bottom. This shell will never see rust again.

What, not even if I get hungry?
