Maybe its just me .. but when i do a DIY project i love putting on new hardware . and getting metric yellow zinc like the factory put on its like pure gold for me. Thought id share with other local DIY guys .
Got it all from Spaneur .. Not cheap though , but well worth it ..

For sure.
It's so nice when you clean everything and put on new hardware.

Clive, rig up a home made plating system and see what kind of results you can get with the old harware. I've seen a few on the 928 forum and they turned out as good as what you just bought.

what metric are automotive fasteners.... I know that CT has 2 sizes of M10 bolts.... some they call 1.25 others are 1.5 I believe it might have to do with thread pitch, but I'm not sure.
