Default addendum to aviograhy's "Building the 991"

What a difference between the 991 workers in aviography's vid post and Vette workers in this video. Sorry, but yes, I'm somehwat shallow....sure would like one of those 5 in 1 impact wrenches though!

Having just visited the Zuffenhausen Porsche factory this summer and then watching the video it appears that the Corvette workers require many more steps on the line to build the car vs. the 991, which comes into the factory in relatively large modules. The Porsche factory is really just a true assembly line. You won't find a robotic welder anywhere. The feel of the place is more like what you would find in a tech assembly plant than a car plant.

I do think your comment on the workers is a bit out of line though. Sure the Porsche guys (and very rarely gals) all look alike and have a softness for grey overalls but beyond that, no need to go there.
