Thoughts on this used 997?
Hi All,
Looking to finally purchase my first Porsche - an '07 911 Turbo. Found this one at a dealership in Toronto. Hoping to get some feedback from those who have experience with price points etc.
Would like to know if you feel the car is priced well - do you think there may be room for some negotiation?
I plan to drive the car year round - should I be concerned about the cermaic brake set up?
Here is a link to the car I am considering - would appreciate your feedback:

They hosted a UCR PCA social event a while back. Seemed like good people. Also a friend just picked up a 993 there recently and didn't hear anything bad about them.

For the street those brakes will last forever, though pay attention to who does the work on them. Don't want to have some tire guy bang the rotor and crack it up.

life of the car. Word of caution; careful when removing and installing your
wheels as to not tap the brake discs; they are apparently brittle and can
crack.
Looks like a really nice car!! Good luck!
sell "high end" cars in Toronto. If you need me to take any pics of the 993
let me know, I'm pretty close to them and can always do a photo Rennfax...

I purchased my 95 993 from them and I would rate my experience as positive. Very accomodating with respect to PPI at mechanic of my choice and detailed the car very nicely before delivery. I dealt directly with Pat Cubellis the GM.
They have had a good supply of very nice P cars in the last year or so since moving from the old location on Bloor.

Well that and Greg ate all their food and Drank All their beer ( thats my story and im sticking to it ) They seemed like great people, and did say they depended heavily on word of mouth ...

Nice looking car. Price seems right, although mileage might be a bit high. I checked their site and they have a really nice 2010 C4S (low mileage) with nice turbo wheels and it is nicely priced as well. Good luck!

I've read that if you do not track your car often (or at all), the PCCB last the
life of the car. Word of caution; careful when removing and installing your
wheels as to not tap the brake discs; they are apparently brittle and can
crack.

Knight; I've never dealt with them, but they are one of the larger shops that
sell "high end" cars in Toronto. If you need me to take any pics of the 993
let me know, I'm pretty close to them and can always do a photo Rennfax...
Thanks
