Default Yorkville exotic car show

The family and I were looking forward to this event. My kids were very excited to see the bat mobile. It's too bad the weather did not co-operate.

Does anyone know if the show is a go rain or shine? I'm crossing my fingers that things will clear up and maybe get down there late after noon.

weather was fine, show was ok. T.O should be able to put on a better showing than our regular cars n coffee though. I guess the weather held back some rides.
But, beautiful day with the kids looking at nice cars ( White RS 4.0!) was fun. Then off to the pub for some pints.

I think the show was way better than last year. The layout allowed people to move about and see the cars. True not many super rare rides but enough eyes candy for the average show goer. I'll post pics a bit later.

It was a bit (!) wet when we were doing the vehicle pre-staging, but it all cleared up when the show officially opened at noon. Great day with great cars and friends.

Rained like an SOB but stoped just in time. 1st time the 997 was drivin in the rain in 3 years too.
Scrambles to re-clean and semi-detail by everyone.
Love those car squeegees. Makes short work of it.
Got super humid, then sun came out with a nice breeze.
Awesome awesome day with just a ton of great people.
Kudos to Phil & the gang for a great show.

I picked one up at Princess Auto today for $5.99 (or you can spend $29.99 for the one sold at CDN tire ). I've been skeptical of these however; one piece of grit on your paintwork and theoretically you end up dragging it across the finish.

+1. Heard lots of comments in the crowd in this regard. Food much better than last year too. Super day to hang about chatting and ogling........rides of course! Too bad about that drive down in the rain through road construction. Car looked like crap. Oh well........
