Default McCarthy exhaust

Does anybody here have the Pfaff McCarthy exhaust on a 987.1 Boxster, Cayman, or S versions of either? I am considering getting it for my 987.1 CS but would like to hear it on a similar car first as I am not so fond of how it sounds on the 911s and a Cayenne I heard it on.

Never heard it. Cargraphic sounds awesome and is well known brand. Many choices. Good luck

I had this installed on my C4S. Sounds amazing and IMO the way it should sound from the factory.

Not sure what you mean by drone. Put it this way, my wife drives it and loves it. It is not overpowering on the highway at all. I have a cab too. Matter of fact, I barely listen to the radio anymore...just enjoy listening to the sound of the car.

I have the Pfaff modified can on a 996, no drone at any RPM. Not really noticeable while cruising, until you exercise your right foot ;-)

Make sure you contact Flat 6 Innovations first to see if there is any power loss from this mod...

I have this mod on my 997.1 Carrera and it sounds identical to the video posted. Very happy with the sound. Invoice record shows it was done by the previous owner @ Pfaff back in 2007 for ~$1800 which included the muffler modification + upgrading to Carrera S tail pipes.
