Agree on the April risk. I usually wait till temps are consistently in the 8-10 range as others mentioned. Prob next couple of weeks. With the winters and modern compounds i dont think they wear all that fast these days in warmer weather

However even if we get a slight bit of snow driving on my summers would NOT be a good idea - zero traction

Ya, that works. I was going to say when the daily high temps are consistently above 7C.
Looks like second week of April for me.

2 down, 1 to go, and might get the car out for a spin today or tomorrow as well!

Think I ll wait until 3rd week of April. Lots of power to be driving around on hockey pucks if we get some snow. On the positive side though, I waxed the DD today with a smile on my face the whole time.

I took mine off today. I have a track day scheduled April 6/7, so I need my tech inspection done.

Bring your rain coat and woolies. I don't know how they manage it, but it seems to pour every year on that DE weekend.

I switched over early.
Today I decided to put my winter tires on my Turbo solid spoke wheels and run the OZ wheels with regular summers tires.
I drove over to the tire shop with all 4 wheels in the car. It was a tight fit. The guys over at Kipling Tire were great while I waited I walked over to their lounge and had breakfast and coffee and waited for the tires to be swapped over.

Summer rubber feels great.
