Default Time to bring out of storage?

To those who live in the GTA and have their pcars garaged for the winter, when do you plan on taking it out of storage? Also, is there anything you recommend to do first when starting the car up again? Thanks.

I treat my car like a princess. That being said I always wait for the salt filled snowbanks to melt completely before I bring the toy out.

I don't know what the weather is like in TO but here in Ottawa we had some white poop yesterday and more in the forecast in the coming days. Snow piles around my house are 2-4' high still. My guess is it'll be some time April for me. :/

I live in a more rural area and they keep spraying the salt brine on the country roads.
So I wait til snows gone and there's been a good rain or two to wash away the salt.

I took my RS out for a spin this week. Roads aren't perfect yet but I can't wait any longer.

I would think all the crushed stone is almost as bad as the salt. I thing I'd better wait until a few rain showers and they sweep the streets -August it is then!

I had my 991 delivered a month ago, thinking of driving it only in April but CAN'T RESIST... Hence, I have been driving it almost daily... whenever there is no snow or slush on the streets.

Taking the first nice warm/dry day off in March to dig the car out for some much needed bonding time But won't be on the road permanently until April - last week of March is forecasting rain and between 5-10C, should clear off any remaining snow and salt.

This winter has been so mild that I didn't even store the car and have managed to keep the battery alive by driving it enough. I just have to be careful to stay away from the salt.

As soon as I see the street sweepers about 3-4 days after that.
