You do make a good point on the use of pure racing oils vs. street.

There's another SAE paper otu there that suggests the total content should be ~.10-12% ZDDP. Too much of it is also a bad thing so don't go dumping in gallons of this stuff.

Where do you get your brad penn? Valvoline sometimes goes on stupid cheap sale at wal-mart making it excellent value.
Omar I go to all the swap meets around and there is always someone selling it . I payed 50 bucks for 12 litres at Hershey so picked up a coupl of cases . Whenever i am in the US close to Bradford pennsylvania i Pick it up their too.

I get Vr1 as you do on sales when it goes on sale at autozone. usually pay 2 bucks a quart .. dirt cheap if you can catch it on sale ..
