Default Winter Project Update / Thread Revival

Ok, it's been far too long so I'm due for an update.

It's mostly just going to be pictures as no body really likes reading all the stories so here goes:

I spent this past winter working on a few different projects:

Tear out the rest of my A/C junk
Brake system overhaul
Steering system overhaul
MSD Install
New 7 and 8" Fuchs, some slicks
Dropped ride height
Corner balanced
Track alignment

Pictures, here we go!

MSD Install:

A/C Junk tear-out:

Steering rack rebuild with new turbo tie-rod kit:

Brake calipers powder coated flat black, vinyl porsche script placed, clear coated and rebuilt:

New SS brake lines, ATE Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid, Hawk Racing Brake Pads, brand new hardware and bleeders/boots, drilled and specialty coated zimmerman rotors:

Alignment/lowering/corner balance, net wt 2584lb from 2756lb stock:

Fuchs with slicks!:

Hope you enjoyed the photos!

Cheers

Shot from my IDS in April, I put my street wheels back on because it was raining!

So I decided to change the slicks out for some old street tires so that I could run the fuchs all the time because they are so pretty!

Brakes are still looking good too.

Cheers!

Thanks Ronan and PorscheFile,

I regret not having all of the detail I used to put into these posts, but I am strapped for time lately and just wanted to share what I have done with the car

Regards,

Jonathon

Well that was an epic read. Thanks for the great learning experience and confirmation that buying a new, old car was worth the $$! Look forward to seeing the beast at a future GTG.
