Jason did you pick up the Set in Waterloo?

996 WB is 8X18 in 225/40/18 & 10X18 in 265/35/18 but 9 out of 10 people run 11X18 with the 265... I run this with no issues

You can also use 8X18 in 235/40/18 & 11X18 in 295/35/18... i ran that set up for 4 Winters

But i prefer the 8X18 in 225/40 and 11X18 in 265/35

Thanks Zookie

My stock set up is:
F 8x18 +50
R 11x18 +45

Im told I must have 18s to clear the brakes and I also need to keep the f/r diameter to within 3% to keep my front diff healthy.

So Zook, your differential was fine running 235/40s with 295/35s? That is very close to the max difference at 2.8% - no PSM issues?

So 225/40/18 and 275/35/18, 225/40/18 and 265/35/18, and 235/40/18 and 295/35/18 all work, plus some others, but the ones listed seem to be the most common.

Thx

Yes 18" Wheels are the Min on these Big Red Brakes... and yes with in 3% is a MUST!

About My Diff it seems fine, I Actully ran 225/295 which is 3.99%, i know it was Close and ride was Floaty... Also the PSM Kicked in at "High Speed" once in a while thats why i went down to 265 eventually... but i doubt 3-5% will damage the Diff

Yes you can also run 275 with the 225 in the front... I have seen 275 on a Turbo with 11" Wheel and the Fit looks Cleaner... But i like the Strech/Poke look of the 265... Hell its only 3-4 months anyways

265/275 Rubber are Similarly Priced but only Bridgestone & Hankook makes 275 as far as i know... Lots to Choose in 265, i opted for Falken EuroWinters... Much much better than the Perilli 240 Snowsports i had before

Jason - you grabbing those with the Nokians on them?

Looks like a sweet deal if yes.

my set up for the last 5 winters with no issues at all: Pirelli Snowsport. Fronts are 235/40/18, rear are 295/35/18. Slightly higher sidewall than the summer tires and the ride is a bit softer, but it works great.

I called on those WFC sets (there are two decent ones there), but yep, both $1800.

No need to spend that much!

I found a set used in Detroit - expect to pay for them later today - so LAST CHANCE FOR LOCALS!!!!
