944 hatch adjustment
Does anyone know of any good shops for getting the rear hatch adjusted/sealed on a 944? I understand that this is a real pain to do.

Hi Scott,
Do you mean adjusting the hatch or removing the glass "ticking".
After 3 years, mine is starting to get on my nerves
Adjusting the hatch is simply screw/unscrew the 2 pins until you get a good seal.

I am not sure what you mean by the "ticking" but my problem isn't the fit it is the seperation at the top in the glass. I have heard that this might be a repairable item?

The 944 board had several threads on the subject of sealing the glass on the 944s. A PIA job.

It would seem that the hatch on the canadian cars are usually in fairly good condition compared to the ones down south, I know of a couple of guys that have gone the replacement route as opposed to fixing the seperation and their hatches have since held up well so far.... only time will tell.
