You are correct i did agree to pay a price AND the vacation is worth my orignal price - but dont **** me off by super discounting the last few weeks out.
If my POrsche dealership did that on any stock remaining in falll i would also be angry.
I can understand a small discount but $1400 is alot - the trip cost us $4300. Also their price guarnatee only gives you back about $450 after fees(per couple) - give me that.............no way. The policy is BS.

They have a price guarantee and you can't get any money back? That is BS.

Porsche and other dealers do do this with remaining stock in the fall or the end of a model run.
just enjoy the vacation and don't look back.
you learned a lesson and don't let it happen again.
ever buy a computer or flatscreen tv...every 3 months a new model comes out and they drop the old models price...just buy what you want and can afford and enjoy.
for price increases look to investments...I like precious metals and gold and let them pay for your trips!

I don't think you can do much about not getting the best price but you can if a tour company does not keep a promise. Simply file a small claims suit. A couple of hours work and $75 to file and I've got full claims settled several times. Just hold out up to and including the pre-trial hearing. No business wants to end up in court with a poor, hard done by customer. It's expensive because they usually send a lawyer and the cards are stacked against them even if your case isn't that good. The out of province outfit was the easiest and settled fully before the pre-trial hearing. It costs them a bundle to represent themselves in Toronto...........good luck.
