Scissor liftt
Looks like I got the okay from the Finance dept for a scissor lift next year, not even sure if I am spelling that right.
I should really have had one years ago for the amount of wrenching i do . I hurt my back fairly badly a few weeks ago and although I am 90 % ( which is about as good as am going to get ) the wife says it is time for me to get a lift if I am going to continue wrenching. Hoping to keep it in the 1K-1200 range. Not sure if that is reasonable. So i iwll be scouring the used market but if any of you guys know of places you have dealt with please throw out a name or link All the best |
Well worth the cost. Mine was from ADG and is called Hanmecsin.

Thanks Jim

Great idea Clive..... go for it... I could use someone with a lift near by! lol
Aside from all jokes. Have you considered a two post lift instead? I heard you can get them for under $2K in the US. |
not enough clearance and i would like it to be somewhat portable.. if i move i just pick it up and go .

I bought mine from http://www.clarkessoutherntruckparts.com I have been very happy with it. Comes with truck adapters as well. They stock a good variety of lifts as well

Clive:
You may not have clearance for a full size 2-post lift. But you might be able to use this. There are a couple of 964 guys in the US that use these (no affiliation). http://www.maxjaxusa.com/ Just realized it's $2,499 at Princess Auto. |

All the best Most people use jacks to lift the car..... much easier on the back. :icon107: A lift is in my 12-18month plan, now that my wife's kitchen is done.... my turn :)!! P |
