Guaging Interest in 2004 996 GT3 for sale $ 69,000 C
I am buying a house with a single car garage - that needs a major renovation ($). As you can see from my signature I have more cars than my - new to be constructed - two car garage will hold.
I sold my RS4 today, and now likely to trade my 993 on a new daily driver for my wife yet to be determined. My beautiful GT3 I am afraid has to go.
This year, I have attended four events and really enjoyed them - next year likely the same...but my plan would be to use my TT for some PCA get togethers and the odd lapping day.
The car is a treat, runs beyond well. I have the original OEM seats with painted seat backs (red) and another set of rubber.
It is perfectly set up for the track but can be toned down for the street. Has a bunch of options from the factory and new Pilot Cups, GT3 seats, OEM harness bar and 6 points, short shifter, petals, Sharkwerks fire-extinguisher.
Please PM me with feedback or if you want details.

Yes - Canadian assumption is correct. My RS4 was taken by the first guy who I mentioned the car being available....it has been a great machine for me but after 4 years, it was time to go. I encourage you to buy one if you find one you like - I was very very happy with mine.

Very nice car. Just can't get over the price for these 3s in Canada. There's one with 79,000 km on Autotrader at the moment going for $80k.

Your car has been at Autoimport when my car has been there.
Why not just store it?
We have customers who store their cars at our facility and just take it out when they want to use it. That's what I do.

I agree with Zook...there are a quite a few US 996 GT3s for under 60K. I have been lurking on aBay for a while. Its tough to sell a US car in Canada for Canadian pricing, especially high end cars. None the less, GLWS Overdraft, it is a fair canadian price at $69K.

Update - Likely keeping the GT3. traded my 993 (+ Cash !) for a new Cayenne TT on Friday. Coupled with my RS4 sale, my plan at this point would be to add a lift at my new house to store my GT3. Had a nice chat with a couple of track rats I was fortunate to run with this summer who have made me ask myself "what the hell was I thinking"? If I can't make the lift work with my ceiling heights in the new house, will seek out a storage solution.

Good choice. Hard to to get a better track experence than in a 996 GT3. Hope to see you this fall, I've spent most of the summer at my cottage. Would love to hear details of the new house.
Cheers,
Geoff
